Based on our experience, medical aids will not pay for this now. Only if you had the accident while on medical aid, and had it fixed after the accident will they consider paying. That’s our guess. Best you consult with a plastic surgeon and get an understanding of costs, and then see if finance is required.

I’m 29 & had a bad accident when I was 12. there was a hole in my ankle & had to get a skin transplant.
This unfortunetly left me with a really bad looking ankle with holes. I would really like to find out if discovery will pay for this or will I have to get this done with other means…
